Mental illness is so poorly understood in this country and kind of a modern day leprosy, if you will. And it shouldn't be. It's no different than diabetes or high blood pressure, other than that it is poorly understood.
OP, I'm so glad things seem to be doing better. It's awful that meds that once worked well will stop working over time, or dosages need adjusting up or down. Makes the struggle that much harder.
