2x2 was used for the chicken coop flooring

Yeah......it would be odd to use AS a floor with that being totally out of the norm to do instead of the usual plywood.

Also odd would be to have enough of them to create a floor when they were purchased to use as roosts.

Has me scratching my head and wanting pics.

Maybe an account was set up at the lumber yard? Maybe the builder took a deposit and will bill later? IDK. It does seem odd all the way around and I agree PICS.

I thought that the 2x2's were used as joists. Really hope not, and even 2x4s sound terrible to me. And 24" on centers?

If the floor was built with 2" by 2" as joists at 24" on center I would say you have a problem unless this is sitting on the ground. Even then the builder cut corners and should be called on it.

If yes what flooring material and thickness was used?
