Okay friends. Bad news express coming through. I have 11 babies, some are 5 weeks old and some are 4 weeks old.

One of the 5 week olds is very clearly a cockerel, I think a CCL. His name is lemon, am I right?

Then I have a 4 week old Egyptian Fayoumi that was my surprise chick which I know is a cockerel…

Then I have a 4 week old partridge cochin that was supposed to be a sexed female, but I caught some wattle action this morning. Cockerel?

I was planning to keep the other two but now it will be 3 to 8 :hit I can’t keep them all and I’m feeling sad!

LF Cochin? I have a LF Cochin I was convinced was a Cockerel because she had bright red wattles from about week 5, they never grew larger though. So I would keep an eye on it for comb development, Cochin cockerels generally show comb growth pretty early. It may still be a pullet.
