I like how differently coloured their beaks are. Sugar's is lightly coloured with black bits, but Cinni's is a brown/ tan colour. So cute

If you end up with one male and one female, your female is going to get overbred. This will mean injuries, and possibly death. A male needs at least 3 hens, 5 is ideal. You are better off if they are both the same gender. As long as both of them aren't roos
I'm hoping for one male and one female, so I can finally breed my own quail.
There is some variation in depth of colour. You will find that they also change some when they moult. That's so cool! I was just saying the other day how I wanted a pansy fee
They look like pearls but with more black!
How differently coloured can grau fee be to eachother? You said my gray/light brown coloured quail, Spot, was a grau fee, how can a dark brown one also be classified as the same colour? Or do they change colour alot?
@Oob Child has his 3 other quail so if one is a roo he would have 4 hens to 1 roo.If you end up with one male and one female, your female is going to get overbred. Yes, sorry for the misunderstanding.@Oob Child has his 3 other quail so if one is a roo he would have 4 hens to 1 roo.
All good hopefully you get your wanted ratio.Yes, sorry for the misunderstanding.
Ohh ok. My grau fee has the same patterns but appeared grayer. This one just looks darker, but I could be imagining it.There is some variation in depth of colour. You will find that they also change some when they moult.
