3-4 week old Coturnix colour identification

That light one doesn't look pansy anything to me and I'd bet money on it being a male.

Are these the ones that person sold to you as jumbos?

What colors did they have?
I know they had pearls, pharaohs, pansy fees, maybe Italians I can't remember. Some of them were meant to have the celadon gene.

This is Cinni and Sugar.
I thought sugar was going to be a pearl fee, but I think she will be some sort of white/tan fee (idk the name). Her eyes used to be a pale blue, but now they look greenish brown. I really hoped her eyes would stay like that!
Thought Cinni could be a Pharaoh before, but she's looking a bit darker, I think she could be a celadon or something.View attachment 3631363View attachment 3631364View attachment 3631365View attachment 3631366View attachment 3631367View attachment 3631368View attachment 3631369View attachment 3631370View attachment 3631371View attachment 3631372View attachment 3631373View attachment 3631374View attachment 3631375View attachment 3631376
I am transferring them into a bigger cage tomorrow.
Cinni looks smaller because she is a 'runt'. Dont know if there's another word for it.
Cinni is the dark one, Sugar is the light one.

Here are baby pics:

If you don't know, feel free to just say they're cute. For every compliment of their cuteness they get an extra foraging toy for their new cage.View attachment 3631380

Cinni is looking alot like a Grau fee, but she's way darker in colour than Spot was. I guess there's some kind of colour differences that can appear, like a Grau fee being slightly darker than another?

Sugar is looking like a mixed pearl colour. I think he's a boy, but I haven't seen any crowing, I think they're still too young.
He's looking mostly white but has brown on her head. He's got no spots or patterns at all on his chest, I think he could be a feather-sexable colour and is a male, because non feather sexable birds would usually have patterns there, right?

Are there variations in tail feathers between make and female quail? Cinni's tail feathers are short, but Sugar's are huge. None of my females have ever had a tail like that.

They are 4 weeks and 2 days old now, they were 3 weeks or so when I posted the thread.

I'm just about to clean their cage and transfer them onto wire, that's why it looks messy.

Here's some chest pics

Neither Sugar nor Cinnamon are feather sexable by their chest. Sugar appears to be getting a lot of brown in his head, though, so I think he's male. Ccinnamon is not feather sexable at all. You will need to wait until about 6 weeks to vent sex or wait for eggs or crowing.

Ok. I'm happy sugar is a male, I just have to hope Cinni is a girl 🤞

They are currently about 4.5 weeks old, here's a size comparison between them and one of my adult females, Hercules (left).

Is anyone able to estimate how long until they can go in the same cage? Cinni is smaller because she is a runt. They've been touching eachother during playtime and seeing and talking to eachother almost 24/7.
