3 chickens 1 egg a day?

Hi all!

I have three 2 year old hens (two lacey Wyandotte and a Red Production) and I am getting a out an egg a day. Some days none. Some days 2. Most days 1.

They are about a week past the molt. Their Feathers have grown back. Any ideas? Should I be getting more eggs?

It might be related to daylight. I have 11 hens. Right now, most (but def not all) are molting and ay least one is past laying age. I'm getting 1-2 a day, too.

My ducks, however, lay every day. I'm up to my eyeballs in duck eggs.

Birds over a year often stop laying when the daylight hours get less. Many birds will not lay until spring after molting.

They may or may not be fully done with the molt.
Shorter days will stop egg production.

There are still feathers in the coop when I clean it. So maybe it's taking a while longer than I thought. I'm a newbie, its my first molt. Thank you!
