Hi! I recently got baby chicks for the first time. I have 3 pullets and 2 straight runs. They are currently 3 days old. I noticed this particular straight run isn’t eating as much as the others and is sleeping more often (however, the weight is the same as the others). Tonight I noticed this chick has a bald lump on its shoulder and am not sure what it is. It’s not bleeding and this randomly appeared. The chicks poop looks soft but is not diarrhea. I attached a picture of the chick. The other chicks don’t seem to be pecking at it, so I haven’t secluded this chick yet. I’ve been keeping a close eye on them. Any ideas of what this may be and should I be concerned??
I appreciate your help!!

Hi! So my chicks crop still has not been emptied. I’ve been gently massaging it multiple times a day, but it doesn’t seem to be helping. Should I separate this chick from the others for the time being to ensure it only consumes water? Any other ideas?
