3 in question???

He does have a bit of a small comb for a roo, but his color is the main thing and when you've had enough experience with Barred birds you can just automatically sex them. Some of us can sight sex dayold barred rocks with probably 90ish% accurracy. He looks pretty decent for a hatchery bird and would proabably be the one I kept if I was only going to keep on of the group.

And I also think its hilarious that McMurray considers those EEs to be Rare and Exotic, and you are not the only one that has happened to.

Z has a typical coloring that you see in the black and white EE roos. The tail sticking up like it is is the other reason I see that he is a roo.

I had to get over the "rare exotic" freebie when my first two orders the freebies were a Red Star pullet and an EE cockerel. There were both nice birds though, except the dogs got to both of them. The roo I at least had breed a couple of hens for me before he got munched and I have two daughters laying green eggs for me now (or at least they did before the daylight shortened and they are pretty much on hiatus.) Free is free, and if I get one big enough to eat or a pullet once in a while, I won't complain. You just have to realize ahead of time that is probably isn't going to be rare or exotic. I did get a Lakevelder in the last one, too bad it was a stinking cockerel.

Well I guess we have 3 roosters!!! Not a big deal at all, I will find a home for two of them. The barred rock is so far the nicest out of the bunch but we will see what happens.

Thank you all again for your time, I appreciate it!!!
