ah. DDeans 3 legged chick needs to be a male then. breed him to tripod... see if it can be passed or is just a defect in the bird. also if it affects fertility etc :}

As long as she grows up with at least a few other chicks she should be just fine. We have never had a single problem. Where are you located? We should have a three-legged playday!

I have heard alot of good things about McMurrays, but this was the first time that I have ever ordered from them. I will keep the chick and raise her with the rest of them.

Doesn't McMurray always include a mystery exotic breed? Maybe this is a new variety they are working on...
