i didn't go thru all the posts, so maybe somebody mentioned this, but If it gets in the way of the chicken, could it be banded and then cut off?

we got our 53 cornish from MM and there were about 3 with red swollen toes, which i treated with neosporin - even tho, 2 of them with the worst swelling died. no 3 legged ones.

we did get the black extra one that my sister in law took - we don't know what kind it is?

i went thru and read them all, and I didn't think about the pain that it might cause. if it doesn't seem to be bothering it, then I'd just let it be too.
