3 Meaties dead

Hi all,
I have some free range type meat birds 6 total. Today I found 3 of them dead in their coop. They were about 6-7 weeks old but not ready for dinner. The other 3 are 5-6 weeks old and seem fine. Yesterday they all seemed fine. eating drinking and ranging. The only thing that was different today was my wife gave them my layer feed which is pellets mixed with scratch by accident. They had no wounds of any kind. Seems like they dropped dead for no reason. They are fenced in separate from all the other birds I have and were not sick at all.
Any ideas??? I'm keeping am eye on the other 3 but they seem like normal chickens.

Oh they are not Cornish X's. Freedom ranger style so 12 week birds.

I was looking at that but usually they have symptoms. Bloody stool, troubles eating. I inspected them and they had fairly full crops at death. Just so weird that the 3 oldest ones died at the exact same time. crazy. I'm gonna check on the other 3 in the middle of the night and just see. Sucks I can't eat the dead ones lol.

Guess they had a suicide pact lol
