Hi again!

So I had one Easter Egger that turned out to be a cockerel (it was pretty obvious once it got bigger) but now I'm looking at my Olive Egger and her comb is so much bigger than my other pullets. She looks like she has the feathers and stature of a hen, though. No crowing or egg laying yet. All my pullers are the same age: a few days short of 3 months old.

She's my only olive egger and appears to be mixed with a cuckoo maran. She looked like she was barred when she was smaller but now is darker and has feathered feet. Hopefully these pics are clear enough.

Experts- boy or girl?

Bummer! The other rooster feathering was so obvious weeks ago and his stature screamed rooster. This one looks so much like a hen except for that red comb. I was hoping maybe she was just older than I thought and was closer to laying. But he/she's 3 months, maybe 1 week older than others- no more than that.

It does not seem to have rooster eyes. I thinking girl.

Shouldn’t he already have male specific feathering? That’s what was throwing me off. But I agree, the comb and waddles should be a dead giveaway. But the lack of male specific feathering has me thrown off.

I agree! So it is hot here in TX so I'm not surprised it's a little redder but the size of the comb makes me think male. But the feathers should be showing signs of cockerel by now.

Haha ok I'm a newby here to chicken farming. What are "rooster eyes?" I haven't come across that in my research!
roosters eyes are not as circle as the hens. They are more egg shaped.

By three months my rooster was showing cockerel feathers. and yours is not really. so it's really hard to say if its a roo or hen.
