That is what I thought but my grandson picked him out and well now here I sit with 3 roosters (barnvevder, silkie, and mottled Houdan) a week who I thought I had 17 assorted breed pullets!

Ha you might be surprised. Several different neighbors have told me they love my roosters crowing. My current roosters don't crow at night or before dawn though. There is something soothing in classic country noises. It's much less annoying than the sound of cars honking/dogs barking and howling all the time.
