Are you sure she is blind and not that her outer eye is scratched from her feathers? Feathers when rubbing against the actual eye can scratch the surface causing the eye to look blind and make it hard to see. My Akita actually had to have eye surgery because her eyelashes rubbed the outer layer of her eye, it turned it a milky hazy blue color and she couldn't see out of it for awhile (no we did not wait until she appeared blind, but rather it took the vets several months of visits to figure out what was happening as it progressed.)My 3 month old silkie chick has all of the sudden got blind in one eye and now he’s blind in both. This has completely happened out of nowhere.I’m wondering what can cause this to happen?
No they’re isn’t any other symptoms of something being wrong with her.Pictures of the eyes may be helpful. Are there any other symptoms? I would keep him in a familiar environment where he can find food and water.
