I always forget that it is RIW not RIR. The barred rock I did not know aboutFound them! It says they are “ a cross between a Maran, Barred Plymouth Rock and Rhode Island White” which would explain the black feathers (she has a couple of those, forgot to mention) and the lack of leg feathers! Actually they look a lot like my other mystery hen Rocky…only difference is Rocky is crested

She lays tan eggs with dark brown speckles all over it, almost 3 so they could’ve been darker before! (Her comb was bigger, it appears to have been frostbitten?) I did think she resembled a cream legbar mix!Rocky may be a bluebell X CCL. Common cross to make an easter egger.
