3 of 5 Hens with pecking injury???

I had this chicken coop too! Didn’t work for my flock because of the ventilation. They kept getting frost bite because there was only that one window in the back for ventilation, and it wasn’t high enough once they were on roosting bars and didn’t circulate air enough. I could open the other windows in the summer and it was better, but I couldn’t do that in the winter. Climate probably matters a lot with that.

I did also have to add another roosting bar inside. I just connected it to the one that was already there and it did help my girls get along better at bed time!

Yes we will do that this weekend as well 😃

armored , : equipped or protected with armor.
covered with hardware cloth with 2' apron so nothing can dig or get in. The minimum space these pre-fab coops have, adding a larger run with a bunch of clutter to break up the line of sight should take care of social problems of pecking.
Thanks - our's is armored (didn't know it was called that!)
Thank you for your input, I can't wait to get them settled and feeling less crowded.
:)
