I have 2 EE hens and and juveunile Roo. I'm getting green eggs, but I'd like some blue. I've been reading the genetics thread looking for the answer to a question I've had about egg shell color. I read that the male carries the blue egg gene. So if my roo has the blue egg gene and my hens have the green egg gene, which is more dominate if I hatch some of the eggs? Also, if a chick is hatched out of a green egg, and is a pullet, will she also lay green eggs? ( or blue?)
