3 Silver Laced Polish - All Pullets?

Will you keep them? Roosters are more fun, smarter, funnier and prettier.
I’m ok with keeping a rooster because I really don’t want to cull anything. I’m attached. Also, I read if you get to the (potentially) fertilized eggs fast enough, you can still eat them so again, it’s all good with me! Our coop was built way too small for the 8 chickens we have (with a 4sqft minimum we should only have 6 chicks) and we’d have to upgrade if we were going to let them breed. We are not in a position to build another coop since we just did this one.

My spouse on the other hand is all for making chicken stew, but seeing as how he does not want to kill any chickens, we are going to keep it. We live on five acres just outside of city limits so there are no rooster restrictions that I am aware of.

Here’s an update to these SLP #1- female, #2-male, #3-female.

The girls lay small, white eggs. They were the last to start laying, and the first to stop laying. Sometimes I’d get one egg a day from them, but it was usually every two days.
