UPDATE!!

Okay, the babies are going on six weeks now (not quite, but they’re getting there) and I want to know if you guys still think the same thing. I’m looking back at those first pics and I actually can’t believe how much they’ve grown!

Also, the porcelain d’uccle (still unsure about his name, I’m trying to decide between Duke, Henry, or Chicken Little) he’s doing much better, still a little wobbly, but not having anymore vent troubles.

He does bow up at the others and they fly at each other a little, but some of my hens have done that before. He is supposed to be the same breed as Jacqueline though, (d’uccles) and there is definitely a comb difference. I’ve never had any of these breeds before so I just want to be sure.

So you think Mr. Fezziwig might be a hen?

FINAL UPDATE!!

The babies are about 2 months old now. I’m almost positive I have a D’uccle pair.

I’m also pretty sure Mr. Fezziwig is still a mister. Like I said, I’ve never had any of these types of chickens before, so I’m not familiar with the wattle or comb development in hens OR roosters.
There’s clearly a difference now though. Thanks guys!

***also, we’ve decided on some final names. We named the d’uccle roo Dude (from Rio Bravo) we like John Wayne movies lol***
