Thanks for the update! They look great, you are good at guessing genders! Do the roos get along? Do you have chicks from Jacqueline? One of my relatives loved John Wayne too.

The boys get along pretty good, there are a few little fights every now and again. Neither of them have ever injured each other, and I hope it stays that way, I’d hate to have to rehome one of them. I’m hoping we can get some more hens for them soon.

Actually, Jaqueline just started laying last week. I think maybe it took her so long because of the cold weather we’ve been having, I’m not sure though. I would LOVE it if she hatched some chicks one day!!

The Silkies in my avatar hatched on June 5th (my late father in law’s birthday) and they haven’t started laying yet. They live with my mom in California where the winter is mild so they probably will lay soon.

If I remember correctly your bantams hatched in May? Is the polish a bantam?
