3-week old chick with a bad leg - any advice please

Will definitely go out to get the B2 but do I also add the B complex too? How much of the B2 did you give to Bernadette?
I gave her a little bit of B complex that came in a general chicken vitamin supplement, but the myelination of the nerves specifically needs B2 (riboflavin) so I focused on that. B2 is also very safe and almost impossible to give to excess.
I got capsules of B2 intended for people - each capsule is 100mg and I give her 3-4 capsules in food each day (which she shares with her two sisters so maybe she gets a bit more than 1 capsule to herself) and then I put another 3-4 in their water which lasts a couple of days and which she also shares. So she is getting at least 150mg a day and probably more as I try and get her to have more of the food with it in.
The first time when her leg recovered I gave her a bit more - so maybe 200mg a day and it took about 4 days before it had any effect.

Thanks for sharing... I'll give B2 a try and hope that my girl's legs will get better. Fingers crossed she'll regain her appetite too.

It has been almost exactly a year since I started this thread looking for help with my lame chick, Bernadette.
I personally like being able to see how situations turn out, so I am posting a one year anniversary update.
In short, Bernie is doing fabulously - though she took her sweet time (11 months) to lay her first egg!
Thank you to everyone who gave advice and encouragement along the way. It was a bit of a rough ride, but so worthwhile.
I hope you enjoy Bernie's moves in the videos below - nothing wrong with those legs now!
And for anyone coming new to this thread with a lame chick - I really encourage you to try high doses of vitamin B2 and not to lose hope
