3 week old chicken - dare I say crowing?

Unfortunately, I couldn't get a photo of either of the girls "crowing". But I did capture a few good images of them just hanging out. Hopefully you can tell from these pics if they are pullets or roos.

This is "Bertie" and she likes to silent crow: (white leghorn crossed with New Hampshire, I think)

And this is "Jessica" who also "crows" when I am looking:

The two of them have started "facing off" with little chest bumps. Jessica always wins.

A few of my 3 week olds do this too, I assumed it was little yawns or stretching or something since at least one of my sex links does it (and we're pretty sure she's a girl

great news!
I am hoping these ladies stay ladies.

Its good to hear of other pullets who do this same "crowing" thing. Thanks for the response.
I have hope!

Jessica looks like a rooster. The jury is still out on Bertie, but if I had to guess, I'd say pullet.

Uh oh.
Ok. Thanks for the heads up. I'll keep a close eye on her/him.

PS - They do look very cute when they're "crowing" though.
