3-Week Old Chicks

What a job! They loved it. Loved taking a dust bath. BUT, trying to get them back into the house took 45 minutes of chasing and coaxing! I've had it for the day 🤪

Glad I came upon this thread. My 3-week old chicks, despite being put up in a 3-bedroom apartment/brooder that my son and i created, they have been flapping their wings, getting out of the boxes and pecking around the rug, doing what chickens do. Wednesday we plan to get our new chicken run up, and putting hardware cloth around the coop & run and getting them out ASAP. We're in MD, pretty warm weather, and have some heaters for them if needed. Plus, they love their trips outdoors and I hate to bring them inside after having such fun in our backyard.
