3 week old Quail

Hi!
I need help with sexing my quail. He is 3 weeks old as of today and is the colour variant Pharaoh.
I hope these photos are enough as I don't think he'd like me trying to vent sex him

Ps: he's a jumbo Japanese/Coturnix Quail

That's not a pharaoah, that looks like a grau fee. Grau fee aren't feather sexable, so you're going to have to wait until it's about 6 weeks old. You can try to vent sex then, or it will probably be crowing or laying.

It could be a mongrel that just got the grau fee colouring. It's certainly not a pharaoh.

I've got another who is now three weeks that I think is a female
I'll take pictures when I get home

It's dark already lol
I'll have to wait until morning and I'll also post photos of one I think is a male
