Hey, just curious to know
Has anyone made any homemade egg nog?
What did you use?
Did you put alcohol in it?

haha... i'm less than 8months from the legal drinking age!
when i made my homemade egg nog i added some bundy rum

yummy!

Egg Nog

12 eggs- separated
1 C. sugar

Beat egg yolks and sugar until thick. Chill.
Beat egg whites until soft peaks form.

To egg yolk mixture add:
3 C. milk
3 C. heavy cream or Half & Half
1 1/4 tsp nutmeg

Fold in egg whites. Chill.

Makes about a gallon.

Ok, this is a head scratcher for me... so, pardon my ignorance, but why and what does the government take away from you, egg nog?

So yeah the nog is gone...my DS is so depressed, it is his beverage of choice! I'll have to make some once the eggs start to arrive!
