Day 18 for me Miss Prissy I will be candling tonight for the last time and hope like heck my little ones are doing as good as yours, it is my first hatch so we will see. Some of my designer chicks from my shipped eggs are possiable Buff orp x Blue orp mixes the rest are blue mixes as well, I will be asking for help to tell me what is what LOL. My local eggs are Isa browns with some EE's 3 or 4 gens back.

I also got some Blue orp's from Jim after seeing your post and have 15 on day 3.

I can't wait to see pics of your babies you always post such great pic's, can I ask ya what camera you use (breaking down this year at some point and getting a new one)

I have a canon rebel xt. I looked and looked and had at one time decided I was going to get the Nikon D70. Then everytime I went to make the purchase I backed out. I just could not spend that kind of money. I guess I didn't want it bad enough. For 2 years my husband would say, "When are you going to buy the camera?" I would give him the blank stare and shiver at the thought of the price.

Last Christmas I told myself I would get a camera. I had been reading about the canon for a while. I am not a professional photographer by any means. I wanted more control than just a point and shoot but I did not in any way need anything really fancy.

I looked at the XTi that had not too long come out as the new improved version of the XT. There were little differences but the price tag was $200+ less for the XT through Amazon.

With shakey hands I clicked and purchased it for some crazy lower Christmas shopper price then got additional lenses and equipment at a huge discount through 47th St. Photo in NY.

I am very pleased with it. It does more than I will ever be able to use it for. It suits me just fine without being so spendy my chest hurts.

I have a 4gb media card for it and can take a thousand photos before needing to download them. I don't do that though. I download nearly every day to my 500gb external harddrive.

Me too, Henry.

Bonnie's wattles and comb are starting to turn bright red. I am hoping any day now to go out and find she has laid me an egg. I would love to collect 5 or 6 at a time and set them and see what happens.

I have 1 more set of eggs to come from Cynthia and then I think I am done with blue orps for the summer. I NEED some black orp eggs but I am scared to risk getting them from the same place as before due to the 0 hatch.

Good hatching vibes coming your way! I can't wait to see the pics of the little ones.

P.S.-I also have a Canon it's a PowerShot A560 and I love it.
