34 Orp Eggs in the 'Bator - 16 Orpingtons!! Woot!!

1 more bbs is almost out. 1 is 3/4ths zipped. 6 are pipped and some cracked a little more than earlier today. They are slooooooow. The 8 buffs and 2 blues are in the brooder all fluffy and eating crumbles.

3 more bbs' are out. One of those was barely pipped and suddenly zip and it was out. LOL

2 of the pipped eggs the chicks have died. They are no longer peeping or moving.

3 other pipped eggs are not showing any progress in zipping but the chicks are alive and chirping.

2 eggs are still doing nothing.

I have 13 chicks in the brooder.

Was looking for an update this morning. So sorry to hear about the 2 that died. Always makes me wonder why they make it to the point of pipping and then die?? Any thoughts?

Sounds like overall it has been a very successful hatch, congratulations, look forward to see pics when they are all dried off.
