And I can hear the reaction of your child - how wonderful to be so awed by nature! I bet it was a really amazing experience for them to watch the egg hatch.

My 6 year old son is just as excited when we hatch eggs. I love watching him be all amazed as much as I do the eggs!

Yes, this was the first time theyve ever seen chicks hatched. Theyre were very intrigued through the whole process. Theyre out at the brooder every day still playing with all the chicks :)
 
That's lovely! Great education for them about life and nature, and even about death too sometimes.

And really good socialisation for the chicks. I bet they will be super tame with all that handling.
