3rd Annual New Year's Day Hatch!!

All I have here as far as broody is a broody Coturnix Quail. Unfortunately I have no eggs to give her, since I collected all of hers.

Darn, I didn't get my eggs set in time for the New Year's Hatch!

I'll be two weeks behind the rest of you guys.

Because?

I am hatching EMUS! They take 50-56 days! If I get my eggs and get them set by Monday we'll be due January 14th!

Still waiting for the eggs to arrive. Hopefully they'll come tomorrow. The Ecoglo hasn't arrived either... but I suppose I've got three weeks for that!

and wow... 56 days for a emu egg... that's like an eternity!

I did mine in my Brinsea Eco 20-two eggs fit nicely in there.

An octogon? I was of the thought it wouldn't fit. Now I have to go reevaluate my emu-less life.
