3rd Annual Northeastern "Sharkie" Chickenstock - NH - July 7, 2012!!! Come one...come all!!

Holyhart ........ I'm really excited about attending Chickenstock also!! I've already loaded up the GPS with the address. I will be bringing my 10 year old granddaughter who's been helping me with my new hobby. We're hoping to bring home one or two Cochins to add to the four girls I currently have. I already have the "box" in the trunk of my car. If anyone needs boxes I can get a ton from work ... computer paper boxes with lids and handle holes on the sides.

I live in Southen New Hampshire and was thinking about heading up that way but my legbar chicks will be still too young and I won't have enough to sell 12 - I have 4 1-1/2 week olds females and 3 males of varing weeks and 7 eggs that went into lockdown yesterday. I do have 2 pairs (m&f) that I am thinking of selling but I am not sure I want to drive all that way for just those 4 birds as I am not sure how much people will be willing to pay for them. I do have some 3-4 week old Black Copper Marans chicks - I am selling some to a girl from Maine on Tuesday - I could see how many I have left that I don't want to keep....I wish the 12 chick rule was due to expire sooner. I want to come and try my hand at selling but just don't think I'll have enough. Is the set up similar to the swaps so your truck and stand/setup are essentially the same?
I am NPIP but the chicks I am bringing won't be banded so I would just need to bring my card and letter?

Yes bring your card. I will have a form for you to use that day and you will just list your NPIP number on there.

Most of our selling spots will be set up in a horse paddock. If you "need" your car/truck with you there will be some spots for that need.

Great questions! If you decide to come let me know i can list what you are bringing so people can see ahead of time.

Im debating selling my 3 ameraucanas 2 pure lavs and 1 split lav all 11 months old all done molting...all starting to lay again....all hens!!!! I can pre sell them on here ...in fact Id rather pre sell and get them prepaid as I dont like bringing birds anywhere if theres a chance they have to come home with me again...tooo muchnstress on them;( Im working on a price?

April - these are the three items I got from Kuhl to be used for the raffle - the second one (the chick feeder) has a lid to it - maybe pair one of each one up with a bag of feed? I can pick up the feed if you need it

Waterer is 3 gallons
Chick feeder I think holds 7 pounds of feed
The big red is a 15# hanging feeder
