3rd Annual Northeastern "Sharkie" Chickenstock - NH - July 7, 2012!!! Come one...come all!!

Hi April .......... I am not selling anything this Saturday but I am bringing potluck items and plan on spending a few hours talking to people ....... I would like to contribute to the cost of the tent .......are you taking the collection via PayPal? Or will you be collecting the money that day?
Oh, Thank you for being so generous.

If you contribute to the potluck then you have contributed.

I have high hopes that the raffle and the 50/50 raffle will help break even.

Thank you for being great! I am so happy you are coming and plan to "hang out" with like minded crazy chicken people!!

Don't forget your chair!

What she said!!!!

April, are there any other things that you will need? Food or otherwise?

Your original weather request...I think you need to make it again. I just heard it is supossed to be 90* + Should be great for all the chickens in little boxes.

Now...now...It only says 88 for Saturday!!

In all seriousness if anyone has a chance - a good thing to do for them in the small cages on hot days is to freeze soda bottles of water and add them to the cages. They enjoy the cool when they have to be in the heat.

And that is where your easy-up tents will be a must!

Oh yeah, you're way up north...it's going to be downright chilly up there!

frozen water bottles...check...on the list!
easy up and chairs...already on the list!

Seriously though, if there is anything else needed, just put a shout out. I'm sure most of us don't mind pitching in. I can also bring a potato salad.

Quote: Awe - thanks for the offer. I was just going to pick up a few pounds at the local deli as I will not have time to cook.

If I find I am missing anything I will post for sure. Post here if you get lost or need anything I will try to check from my phone as often as possible.

Hi Everyone-- Like a few others on this thread, I am new to the world of chickens and look forward to meeting you all at the swap! My husband and I are homebrewers, so we will plan to bring some brews to share. I'll also bring apple pie!

I'm also looking to buy two birds to round out my backyard (spoiled!) flock-- one Black Copper Maran and one Americauna to add some different egg colors. I would prefer 3-6 months of age, and girls only please as I live Somerville MA and like to keep the neighbors happy. Otherwise, I could take straight run younger chicks. I'm more than happy to prepay and guarantee pickup. Thanks, and this should be lots of fun!

Do you definately want an ameracauna or would an EE pullet be good enough?

Fax it to Cindy Lou at the State Dept if Ag. 271-1109
Tell her you need a permit for July 7th chickenstock here...
April
Do you have a link to the form? I thought there was one previously posted but there are just too many pages to go back thru.
Hopefully I can get it filled out and then fax it from work tomorrow.

I didn't think I was going to get these finished!

For sale: 2 extremely rare breed hens. Exceptionally quiet. High start-up cost, but very low maintenance.

And I also finished the raffle rat today.

I'm also offering a fly and a scorpion for sale (and the monkey). It will be Saturday before we know it!
