4/12/12 Setting Date--Anyone joining me?

Two days until hatch day! Everything looks fine in the incubator but my broody hens are still moving their eggs around. I guess they don't know they aren't suppose to turn their eggs the last 3 days! Funny hens. I have a camera on them so I can make sure everything is going okay with the eggs and the 4 week old chick I have with them. Can't wait to see how this all turns out.

Well I'm over 12 hours into day 21 and still no pips. Hope I did the right thing by upping the humidity on lockdown.

Whoop Whoop! while egg watching (again) I saw my first pip!!!!

Day 21 for us. Had a bit of a panic yesterday as my thermostat was failing. Ran to Lowes and quickly replaced it. Woke up this morning to one pip!!!! This is fun!!!

When I go to drop my daughter off at school today, I'm definitely going to check out our eggs.


For all the hours I've stared at eggs, I've never actually seen the moment of pip.

I have three pips! I am always so excited for this to happen but then when it does I get so nervous. Exciting day ahead.
Sphinx did you see any pips at school? Would they let you put up your web cam?

I checked on the eggs after school today. No pips yet, but Dolphin was chirping, and several more were wiggling.

The IT lady has said that I *CAN* set up a camera, but it won't happen til tomorrow (no biggie, I don't think anything good will happen til then. Woot!

Yes I have a hatching chick, still a few wobbles from the other 2 eggs but no pips yet (day22) My hatcher started to zip at 10:10pm. It is now 06:15 and still not much more progress. Am starting to worry

The zipper was shrink wrapped, had to help it a little, it is now resting

Well chick has been making loads of noise and has been on its first adventure around the incy scaling the heights of the other eggs!
