4.5 Week Old White Leghorn - Pullet or Rooster?

I think it's a cockerel - you should be able to tell for sure in a week or two - just watch for the comb to change color or for the wattles to get any bigger.

Like 2 of the other posters, your chick's comb is bigger than my 2 leghorn pullets' combs at 7-8 weeks of age (see picts).

there are some pics here, https://www.backyardchickens.com/forum/viewtopic.php, that show my pullets at 4 weeks old and Miss Jayne's cockerel at 3 weeks old. My pullets are now about 8 weeks old and their combs still aren't as pink and plump as the one in question.

It would appear that the vote is not looking good for my supposed pullet. I've heard that some girls look roo-ish for a while? Or is that just wishful thinking? Still hoping I just have a tomboy on my hands.
What is a "sure" sign? I would assume crowing? Obviously, if she lays an egg, we're in good shape... but that could be a few months away...

That's a little cockerel.

Pullets don't get the larger combs until they are near laying age.
