Hi,
I am picking up 10 babies today but need to leave them overnight for one night two days later. Will they be oaky if I set everything up ahead of time?

You need to have someone check on them who understands that baby chicks can have a sudden crisis that needs to be treated immediately, such as constipation or impacted crop or overheating or spilled water chilling and killing them all.

So you would be wise to have someone check on them at least once for those twelve hours during the time you'll be gone.

How do you tell if one has an impacted crop? And what do you do if it does?
