I don't think flock raiser has grit in it. But, I provide grit to mine when the ground is frozen otherwise I don't add any extra grit.

Muscovy can make quack-like sound - but usually it is when they are getting pinched by another duck or are trying to run away from one. One of my girls is basically the odd scovy out and she gets pinched quite a bit and makes a quack-like honk sound.

I would sprinkle some VetRx on there bedding to clear up any respiratory issues.
