Hi all,
Today I bought a female Khaki Campbell from a family that keeps lots of chickens and ducks.
The family hatched the duck. I brought it home and before I got home this afternoon, I realized that she had a slightly runny nose on one nostril. Later, it looked okay.
I checked on her just now at bedtime, and it is runny again. She is isolated from my other chickens and ducks and has splash tub of water.
What signs should I look for? How concerned should I be? What might this be?
I don't want to take her to a vet. What kind of first aid should I administer?
What I have on hand: vitamins and electrolytes, kerfir, ACV, nose drops, whey (from cheese I just made), Tylan 50, Oxine, and some kind of antibiotic I can put in water.
Thanks for any advice.
