If the two in question are the same age, then yes, the big red comb gives it away as being a roo.
His legs also look thicker than the other bird too, another indication of a roo.
Pretty sure they hatched at the same time although I am not sure on their ages. They were just lil end of April..not under a light still but lil so maybe 5-6 weeks then.. not too sure.
They carry their tails totally different.. one up and one down. The black and white one has a bright/bigger comb and wattle and the other is small and more pale. They do have the same dad.. he is white with like 3 black feathers.. Mom's are up for debate but thinking the white and red one is a RIR and the black and white looks similar in coloring or was all blackHard to say...looks like it has saddle feathers, but tail looks like a hen. Waddles aren't big yet...could be a hen nearing point of lay. I was just going to say that it DOESN'T look like the legs are thicker than the other bird's. Tricky one - might just have to wait and see on this one (or hear a crow).
