4 week old silkie with comb??

Is it common for silkies to develop combs this early? The first one very clearly had a comb while the other 2 do not. Does that mean "she" is a roo?? Opinions please!!

Not common in my experience. I'd feel quite confident saying that one is a cockerel.

Buff is a new color so they don't have as dark a comb, thus it showing reddish is actually useful. Also the fact that it's so wide and has texture at this age...I'd almost bet money they're a cockerel.

In my experience, that large of a comb this early is male.
