How old is this chick? It seems rather young...however, it is looking to be a pullet...but that could change at about 10-12 weeks with the growth of pointy saddle feathers

Yours reminds me of my Velma...here she is at 5-6 weeks old...She's an EE...I've never had any doubt about Velma...her feathers have always been overly rounded (much like yours)...and she grew her tail VERY early on...and their combs are very similar...

Hello all!

Instead of starting a new thread I thought I would just continue to update here since you have followed Alphie from (almost) the start

She/he is now exactly 20 weeks old (5 months) and has grown considerably. I have always been pretty sure that she/he is a pullet but now i'm a bit unsure....

Here are some pictures that I took this morning; what do you say? Pullet or .... rooster?

Really? I'm kind of new to this. She had me worried because her bottom isn't that rounded, more like starting to look a bit towards a roosters saddle feathers ...
