today they are 43 days old

dark hen on left side is fast and very hard to shoot i would like to breed her to this male shown further below

Below is the cockerel i would like to breed the dark hen to. any info on these would be great thank you.
i love the color pattern but ? the breeding line.

also notice the odd color blue hen i like her color phase as well. she may as well be a cross breed

or something they call easter egger for WHAT ever thats worth?
i wonder what color pattern i will end up with?

Araucana cockerels--- is from Mt. Healthy Hatcheries here in my home town ohio.
i was told their blood line is not true to form now as well
hen is from Murray McMurray they should have been Araucana
but now i am being told they are Araucanas/Americanas Easter Egg Chicken.
this leads me to think i got a crossed with who knows what.

must say i am unhappy with both places i paid extra all be very cheep cost for pullets
of the 24 chicks 12 are cockerels i think but they are young. but i do see the roo
patterns showing up upright body stance ready to fight doing the head bob and weave just my
birds of the past would do.LOL i got took but my wife loves here birds so all is well with me.
i also got 3 monster chickens they eat cups of food daily with leg growth like a cornish rock cross breed
and they are solid white like the ones we raised as kids.these 3 were ordered as pullet columbian rocks.

all in all every bird is VERY healthy growing fast, only 2 are mean or skidish and thats the speckled sussex roo's

tony.

If ordering from a hatchery, your Ameraucanas are gonna be Easter Eggers. Green legs=Easter Eggers. It's a shame that the hatcheries refuse to rename their birds to their correct breed. I have tried with McMurray, but all they did was change it from Araucana to Araucana/Ameraucana/Easter Eggers.

Also, I think the rooster might be a hen. Male EEs don't have that color pattern.

well the two ees are pullets and your dark pullet is a good colored rir, my silkie hens are my worst birds for fighting so I wouldn't go on fighting as a sex indicator. If you want you can post pictures of them and we can help you out.

thanks for the help and reply
new here so some of the acronym are new to me.
what is rir, ees. these are picture from my cell phone and not very good.
i will try to get better shots this weekend.
maybe i need a link for common color phases of the
Easter Egger chick line.
