I have the 'Big Coop' which will hold around 70
a little red coop which will hold ten bantams
a coop i built for around 15 bantams
the 'Old Coop' which is still good, just upgraded. That will hold around 30
and a coop which is more like a shed (but can be fixed haha) that could hold around 25
and another red coop for about 10 but needs fixing up

So far only 2 of them are occupied, the first two. I just want to really fix up the others before i use them. The other red one im going to use as an all purpose (sick or injured birds) and the others for special breeds like silkies and FBCM and polish lol!

actually, im hoping the time wont come. my hovabator wont heat up. 3 degrees too cool.

I cant seem to make it go up, i will turn the knob a few turns but it always stays the same.

Once you set, don't touch for at least 24 hrs. let it settle

Sounds like a good plan . We are still going to be moving but moving the birds is the least of my worries (my coops designed to be semi portable with a rollback trailer)

Let's try that again. I set 19 Ameraucana eggs at 12:02pm today. Hopefully there will be a picture below...this time. I hope this is where I am supposed to post this.

I was sitting here about an hour ago, minding my own business, when I saw it. The cause of all my stress and worries, the owl!! It was flying down over my little tiny bantam chick (3 months old), a few feet from getting her. I think i almost broke down the door trying to get out there. my poor dog was chilling there in front of the door, lol she freaked out. I went out there screaming bloody murder, pretty much. I think the neighbors thought i was crazy

well I ran out there in our muddy (no grass yet

) yard with only some nice new white socks on my feet, when suddenly i didnt see it. Nor did i see my bantam, so I ran all over trying to find her, bc i didnt see the owl having anything, and about two ruined socks later, i found her.

im still having a heartattack.
