im trying to hold back, and just do it every few days, but if it doesnt hurt them then hey, why not?

AS long as your incubator stays warm if you open it up a lot you are golden. If it looses humidity and heat and tales a long time to come back up, its more problomatic.

Maybe we should elect all of you to Washington, we might get some progress!

STEP AWAY FROM THE COMPUTER! Seriously, just because we can agree on chickens dosn't mean we can agree on politics! Im willing to be actual cash none of you woudl vote for me, mwahaha. The real thing we have to do is make politics more like chickens!

I was not home yesterday to post...we had our 4-H kids out Christmas shopping for a family of 4 (ages 8, 9, 10 & 12).
The mother (addict) dropped them off at a family members house with the clothes on their backs and said "I'm DONE!"

The family member asked for help, but their church is too small, too many unemployed, to help.
We heard about the situation, and we took our 14 member group out to get clothing, pj's, toys, and a treat for each child. These kids fund raise and work year after year for their money, and instead of a Christmas party for themselves...they spent $240.00 of their hard earned money on kids they do not know! All they DO know is that now, they are having a better Christmas because of them! I am so blessed by these kids!

It's snowing pretty good and my crazy rooster (this one is a rescue that lives up by the house just free ranging) is running around trying to peck the flakes out of the sky. From what I understand he had lived in a small cage all his life and was in pretty rough shape when I got him.

Now the fat brat stalks me and scares me all the time sneaking up behind me. But this snow thing is making me laugh so hard I can't walk!

Oh and my Houdini hens are not even trying to get out of their pen this morning!

Candled mine and I have 100% fertility, 100% veining in 16 little Serama eggs! Keeping fingers crossed these guys do well and give me a great NYD hatch
