3 entries per person (yes you can show multiple pictures of each of the three eggs) NO it doesnt have to be just markers, YES we are willing to change the prize if you want to enter, but cant have geese, or dont want geese. (we are easy)
WOOT! Now I have to finish the egg I am working on. It is actually part of a gift for my boyfriend, but it will do nicely as egg art for the contest! And I love geese!

I can't candle tonight... I can't candle tonight... I can't candle tonight. (Most of my eggs are very dark Marans.) How do you guys that hatch all the time check them? I'm planning on just using the sniff test for now.

You need 2 people and 2 LED flashlights. One holds the egg and the other holds a flashlight on top of the egg and on the bottom. Or you can buy a high lumen (400) flashlight. It won't "see" into the egg but you'll be able to tell if something is growing.

I haven't done a ton of duck eggs, but I don't mist my eggs. I just do them like chicken eggs and they have done well so far. Some people may say different.

I don't mist mine either and have had great luck with this method. I don't cool them either, though I do candle them by pulling the entire tray out. It's only for about 2-5 minutes, and I'm sure that's not enough to satisfy the half hour cooling or whatever people recommend.
