Happy Birthday!!!!Happy birthday to me lol I broke the world its sapose to end. Lmao, if they knew so much they would still be rulers of there area
I'm so glad she's found again, and even so it's annoying for you, it's so CUTE that she had a nest!Okay a few days ago I said my turkey girl had gone MIA. I was taking my Pyr puppy out to potty early this morning and the turkey girl was perched on the compost bin. Went back out to feed when daylight came and she was gone again and not answering, so I went around clucking still no answer. Then I went around the back side of the garage and there she was on a nest, who's turkey goes broody in the middle of winter, she had 10 eggs under her, I didn't even know she was laying. I took the eggs because of course she wasn't sitting on them all night. She wasn't very happy, so I scooted her along into the run since the storm was getting worse, Will that break her, this is not the time of the year for baby turkeys.

Oh, that's so wonderful. I keep dreaming of moving... we have our house, but I'd love to have way more animals and we've run out of room to plant trees, LOLI'm getting amped up for our new house. Grabbed some raspberry starts to get planted there in the spring and planning on looking for two apple trees and thinking about any other tree I might want. I'm so happy! I've never had a house and land of my own, only rented, besides my parents' places, so I never got to do cool stuff like raspberries and trees. Have to start thinking about a new building for the birds though. It'll probably have to be built, which is going to stink. We're still trying to figure out how we're going to move them when there's no establishment there for them. :/ We don't have the means to build here and transport it there though, or I'd get started. I have been looking for free pallets and such though.
Love that animation. One thing about being in the foothills where we are, there is something about this location where the wind mostly is blocked. Out where my mother lives (and I lived most of my life) it gets so windy, like up to 70 mph, but it's only wind and usually brings dry conditions, they're called the Santa Anna winds. I'm so glad this house ended up a bit protected, 'cause I hate it when it's that windy!
That's really super cool. It always looked to complex for me to bother to understand, LOLI like Maya a bit too much... been studying them for a long time.![]()
Awwww, sorry! It's probably one of those "laws" that nobody pays any mind to in certain areas, but some rich folk probably forced into the laws for their neighborhood?? Probably nothing to worry about!I feel like all I do on this thread is complain. But I have one more that is making me furious right now. This is what is getting to me today. http://www.montgomeryadvertiser.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=2012312210004&nclick_check=1![]()
All I can ask is, what chicken laws? We never had any before now so what in the world are they talking about? It says that we've always had a no chickens law, but I searched through literally everything to make sure they never threw one out without anyone knowing. I am so upset about this. To make things worst, there is no zoning map to find out where I stand. Dad's worried about it as well. No one has ever complained about our chickens before (and chances are they never will), but I'm starting to worry about this. I was hoping I would never have to fight the city over my birds and it looks like I'll have to. I am not willing to work with them and get rid of my roosters, and I'm not willing to forget about my plans for slaughtering some of my birds in the long run. If only there was a zoning map so I could find out if this really is something I should be worried about.
