4th Annual BYC NYD Hatch-a-long

This is awesome and so addictive. I am buying another incubator cause I have ordered more eggs;) and one of our polish pullets started laying. Well actually those are my wifes, she loves the way the polish look. Good luck everyone that is hatching!
I'm trying to think of a rhyming end for the couple that hatches together... But its a good thing! My husband is a chicken head too, he demands the showgirls run around the lawn looking ridiculous to entertain him.
It probably works better than anything made nowadays. I would buy it in a heartbeat!!!
Yeah, old is good for bators, is 500 a good price? I was cheap.

How's 13? :D
GO GO SPOOKY NUMBER!! GOOD LUCK ON YOUR HATCH!! What breeds do you have in there? WHAT SUPER RARE OR INTERESTING BREEDS DOES EVERYONE ELSE HAVE GOING DURING THIS HATCH ALONG?

Thanks! I noticed the start and end times. Forgot about that.

oops...that was 1853...not 1953...nevermind Blarney...but in researching it a little...looks like it'll take 100s of eggs to fill it! AND seems like everyone who has it loves it...and they say it's worth in the 400-600 range...one sold on Ebay for $629! Though, this won't fit in your car for the drive to the beach! I know...house it at Chad's! Then we can all go over and use a tray to incubate our babies!

Gabrielle1976 just posted in the invention thread......I am seriously DOOMED!! I cannot beat her submission!!! No amount of DUCT TAPE could dare defeat the amazing cuteness and "AWWWW"ness seen in her submission. I am going to go cry in my pillow tonight....

Won't fit in the back of my car!? How will I get it home from Annville? Maybe I WILL have to leave it at Chads! Then he can turn them...since I didn't see.a turner.

This year I am asking good old St Nick for a farm so I can swim in a sea of chickens, sheep, and DUCKLINGS!!
I have Seramas in my incubator. :D Got two little 5 1/2 month old pullets (both black), an Exchequer cockerel and a tricolor mille fleur/white/black mottled cockerel set up in pairs, so those are the four my eggs came from. Hoping for some pretty, colorful babies ^..^

Those are amazingly built incubators!! Even if it needs to be refurbished a bit I would totally go for it! I personally would add new fixtures but keep the structure the same. If the price seems a bit high start by saying it may need work (cleaning, tuning, etc) and would be happy to "take on the project" for $xxx. If you don't want it I will ask santa to fit that baby in my stocking!!!

Fancy fancy... My incubator is a styrafoam cooler, with a light bulb and chicken wire.... a dish of water, and a thermomitor.... and I taped glass from a picture frame into it so I could see. :D
