I love the teals, they are sweet little things. They actually will let you walk right up to them, unlike the mandarins & wood ducks.

NYD Hatch Digest for 12/12/12
mstricer is back after a therapist worked her over. Meds kicked in and a picture of a tree did not confince DH to Decorate the tree!

karimw seg her eggs last night in a new incubator. It is not behaving! (I would use the Genesis)

What color should RIR chicks be? Best answer was yellow to brown for Red ones, white would probably be a White chicken. Never mind, turns out the Dad was an EE, so there will be muffs and beards and if a pullet may lay a green egg.

Brechin poste a wild looking thing with graphs and charts that will probably win the best invention prize. IDK people really like things made with duck tape too so please keep posting your inventions. See post 2475

None of mine have really short bills. They are fun though, I love them.

One of the 2 in the pool is daddy. I sold the snowies, but have a blue magpie, black bibbed, gray pied, and another black magpie. Addictive little things, seems like I never have enough.

I got a pair of mandarins not that long ago. Love them, I just wish they were a little calmer, lol. I love the teals, I want some someday.
