Mudslide is a cute, and fitting name for a duck, lol.I would name her Kahlua or Mudslide.![]()
I dry incubate, but raise humidity for hatching. I also have added some water to keep it 30-40% in the incubator this time though, since with the furnace going humidity in the house is really low.Any body going or doing a dry hatch?
Congrats on the duckling! Can't wait to see pics.Good Morning All!![]()
I woke up around 5:00 AM this morning and checked on broody momma, no babies. Then I checked her again at 7:00 AM and I'm pleased to report we have 1 Duckling OUT!!The adorable little thing is pretty much solid black, and has a smudge of orange on his neck/head. He is still drying off so I cannot be for sure what color it'll be. I took some pictures and will post when I get them off the camera.![]()
Cute, cute, cute!
Thank you, he is the fiestiest little thing you ever saw in your born days! LOL![]()

I tired doing a dry hatch once, I failed terribly! We have 0% humidity here, so dry hatching does not work for those of us that live out in the middle of nowhere, in a desert! LOL
