I understand it is annoying but think of it like this.

If it was just a random post number picked, then it should have been a drawing , but doing this gives everyone more then one chance in winning, yea it is mindless, but if we all had a conversation, it would get boring to some, and some will find other posts, it would not of had the praticapation it needed.
And we are supposed to get to atleast 1000 posts on this thread by a certain time. so everyone is trying to acheive the goal.

If people post meaningful conversational posts, they also still have more than one chance in a random post thread. And in contest 7, I see nothing from either BHep or CPL saying to spam until there are 1000 posts. I like the prizes in the contests, but I think I am dropping out of all of them since they have become senseless at this point.

Me too! I can't decide if I should bother trying to keep up. It takes me forever to navigate through this stuff, and I just don't have enough time to compete.

Well, same reply for both of you. The sponsored and normal contest should be simple and not need you to keep up, so to speak. Post your picture, make your guess have fun.

The extra contests are more of the stalking ones. They are supposed to be entertaining and give out some extra prizes. Some people enjoy one type, some people enjoy another. You for sure do not HAVE to try and keep up with the extra contests to enjoy the other ones. Just pick what is enjoyable to you and go with that, we are trying to have a little bit for every taste. I want more pictures, those are my favorite. I've been searching for a picture of chick van buren all day, have not found them yet. I'm still torn between lady gaga and Elvis however.. glad I'm not judging this one!
