My Mom & Dad just left. My wonderful Dad, who was an electrician before he retired, came to my rescue tonight and figured out why I had no lights in my livingroom and no power in my main bathroom... An outlet in my bathroom had shorted out and almost burnt through a wire!!! Scary!

While they were her, I showed my Mom my incubator. I candled a few of my eggs for her and I found a couple of my questionable eggs had movement!! Even one that I thought was clear on Tuesday night had definite movement tonight!! Yay!!! The one I thought was developing a blood ring, definitely had a blood ring, so I pulled it before it could explode. So I'm down to 43 eggs in the bator now, but I added about 4 more to my + column on my chart...

I broke open the 5 clear silkie eggs, and one egg that we thought was a bit stinky. (I was right, I got it out of the house quick after I broke it... I just wanted to be sure I was right. I won't bother cracking those open again.

) It looks like 4 of the silkie eggs were infertile, and the other died right away.
I have 7 eggs all together that I am sure are developing, and the rest I am not sure of.

Had to toss another egg tonight. a bloodring.Leaves me with 10 eggs a couple im not sure about.

3 chicken eggs going strong only 2 were infertile. 8 quail eggs going still...I can't tell if they are doing anything tho :/

AWESOME pic of that chick on day 9, AMAZING!! I saw some of my chickies moving tonite!!

Still a few maybes and pulled another 9 out.... most of them are my own.. looks like my young cockerels aren't doing their job all the way yet... need to get more assertive with the older laying pullets, sheesh!! The rest are shipped and looking pretty good!!
