My step-daughter told her father that she'd be here at 8:30....she walked in at 8:52...this is normal for her. They were to be here at 10:00 on Christmas...she had her son message us at 10:30 to say that she'd forgotten the presents, and they wouldn't be here till 11....try...11:30.

Sorry...I actually had to talk to her....much like her...her brother doesn't understand the concept of notice. He messaged his father at 8am today to inform (not ask, inform!) him that he and his wife will be up this coming weekend to celebrate Christmas with us....umm...ok....problem...I'm having guests tomorrow...so I've stored everything in the bedroom they usually stay in...now I have to clean that too! AND his sister doesn't have her kids this weekend...so now we need to rearrange schedules with their dad...to say nothing of cancelling the plans we had for this weekend! GRRR

Why can't you spell it? I wouldn't even attempt to make it much less spell it. I envy people that can really cook and have someone around to eat it. I make about the same 5 dishes. I have perfected pot roast because all my crew will eat it. That is about as fancy as I get other than a basted meat loaf that cooks in a tomato/vinegar/mustard/brown sugar sauce. Hope your dinner is a huge success.
